Public Sector Software - Quarterly peer group review
The share price performance of the Public Sector Software peer group has been reasonably robust over the last quarter having just stayed in positive territory against a near 10% decline in the All-Share. After a period of trading at a significant premium to the wider software sector, Public Sector Software companies have been gradually coming back into line with the software average and this quarter the average PE ratio has slipped to a discount (on a PE basis) for the first time in quite a while. Meanwhile, we have seen no real change in trading conditions over the last quarter and they remain mixed with different segments of the public sector market growing at differing rates.
