Infrastructure Services Quarterly Review - April 2011
After a generally strong performance from most of the listed companies in our Infrastructure Services peer group through 2010, things have been a lot tougher so far in 2011. On average, the peer group has seen a 15% drop in share prices in the last three months which has, in turn, resulted in a flat performance for the last 12 months. This compares to a much smaller fall in the overall market in the last quarter and a modest rise over the last 12 months for the market as a whole.
The title of our trading round up in the last review was ‘A tough year ahead?’ and, whilst the picture is not yet completely clear, our confidence in the expectation of a demand pullback in 2011 has increased in the last few weeks, especially with comments from Computacenter this morning.
