Hosting and Fixed Line Report - January 2012
The Hosting and Fixed Line peer group has tracked the FTSE ALL Share for the last one and three months, but remains a 20% out-performer on a one year view, driven by data centre, hosting and comms resellers; Maintel (+66%), Telecom Plus (+61%), Alternative (+59%), Iomart (+49%), Telecity (+38%) and Adept (+37%). Letting the side down have been the network owning alternative operators; CWW (-73%), COLT (-34%) and Talk Talk (-17%). Corporate activity in the last month included Azzurri completing a major debt refinancing, involving a debt for equity swap and Board and management changes, and GCI Com acquiring IT support specialist Orchid Business Computing, which adds c£10m revenues, for 6x EBITDA pre-synergy.
