The annual Megabuyte Forum Mobile Services CEO Roundtable dinner, which is hosted by College Hill, will bring together leading CEOs and investors in this part of the market to debate corporate, competitive and financial trends in this peer group.

Last year’s Mobile Services annual review focused on the rise of the smartphone and the resulting opportunities in a wide range of content and services, including mobile advertising and marketing, app stores, banking, payments, gambling, messaging, music and mVOIP. Over the last year, many providers of new mobile services have made progress, but others have slipped, particularly those trying to reinvent their businesses from a legacy mobile content world, with the decline in legacy revenue outpacing new growth avenues. Investors continue to be enthusiastic about the mobile opportunity, as evidenced by continued share price out-performance, but picking winners is by no means straightforward.

At the dinner, Megabuyte principal analyst Philip Carse will open the discussion with a summary of the 2012 Megabuyte Mobile Services annual review, which is sponsored by Goldenhill Technology Advisers. In the report, we review key trends in share price performance, valuations and corporate activity in this part of the market over the last year and identify key trends for the coming year.
